Jacksonville University Communication Sciences and Disorders Program in Palm Coast is seeking clinical placements. As JU Palm Coast is a new program, we need community partners to help us build our clinical program. We are currently seeking SLP Clinical Instructors located around Palm Coast, Daytona, Saint Augustine, and Orlando areas. We seek placement year-round, however, we are currently focused on finding Fall placements.
FALL 2022: Fall is a part time practicum, 2-3 days a week (MWF); August 15th- November 21st.
Here are a few details about our program:
• The students receive background checks.
• Clinical Instructors will receive "adjunct professor" privileges. Meaning, they will have a JU account and access to journal articles, library services, sporting events, etc. at the school.
• Clinical Instructors are invited to our free CEUs throughout the year (most of them are virtual).
• As an additional "thank you" for supporting our program, our department can provide in-services to staff on a variety of SLP topics depending on your specific needs.
