| Children’s mercy did some testing for my son, Liam (6/29/2017). The Dr. is leaning towards an autism spectrum disorder diagnosis. We are in the process of getting that testing set up. For now, she has ruled out any cognitive issues. It came as no surprise that his tests were below average in language and communication. His receptive language is weaker than expressive but she thinks I should do everything I can to get him into speech therapy for the summer, with a focus on articulation. |
