Hi my name is Hannah, I am a current graduate student in the SLP program at Ithaca College in NY. I am interested in completing my externship in the Charleston area. I am interested in working with the adult population, but I am open to children as well. My first externship placement for block 1 is in a nursing home / rehab. We typically complete two 8-9 week blocks of externship. I am looking for a placement March 11th - May 10th, 2024. We are expected to work full time, and earn about 125-150 clinical hours.
Our program has the following requirements for SLP supervisors
1. Hold CCC and current membership to ASHA
2. Attend a supervision training that is ASHA approved (at least two hours)
3. Provide a minimum of 25% in person supervision.
4. Have at least 3-5 years of experience as an SLP before supervising a student
