You mentioned specific treatment frequency and intensity. Is that based on a specific program that can be purchased?
The patient I recently evaluated uses the blade of his tongue for tongue tip sounds so I'm guessing that he would benefit from tongue thrust treatment. He does not present with any underlying neurological conditions and his motor planning for speech production looks good. His tongue rests forward in his mouth and he cannot use the tongue tip for speech production. |
