Speech-Language Pathologist
I am a speech-language pathologist who has extensive experience working in a variety of settings including public schools, Early Intervention, private practice, and skilled nursing facilities. My areas of expertise include Autism Spectrum disorders, social skills, articulation disorders, ADHD, selective mutism, stuttering, and expressive/receptive language disorders.
I have a client-centered approach to speech therapy. I individualize speech therapy so that the treatment plan is tailored to each clients' needs and wants. If you have a specific goal or target area in mind, I will cater therapy to accomplish those goals.
As a mother of three young children, I understand the need for quality rehabilitative services in order to support your child's development. I like to emphasize clear, realistic goals for clients and families. I believe that my positive and optimistic view of life and speech therapy help my clients reach their fullest potential. I have an easy disposition and believe that this helps clients feel comfortable and ready to learn when they are working with me. Speech therapy should be fun. There are so many games that can be played to get to a target goal and I like to introduce clients and families to them!
