Bio
Kaitlin graduated from Purdue University in 2014 with a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. She has experience treating individuals of all ages in a variety of medical settings. She dedicated the last 9 years of her career to understanding the complex needs and best practices for oncology patients while employed at Community MD Anderson Cancer Center. Community Health Network’s partnership with MD Anderson facilitated first-hand experience and resources to world-class, innovative modalities to improve patient’s quality of life, regardless of where the patient was along his or her cancer journey. Kaitlin remained dedicated to implementing similar practices, opportunities, and resources available to patients at all of Community MD Anderson’s Cancer Centers. She served as the Supervisor of Oncology Rehab: Head & Neck Department and was the vision behind the world class Head & Neck Oncology Program that exists at Cancer Center North today. She continuously worked alongside the head and neck surgeon, APPs, management, as well as executive leadership to develop a foundation that maintained the highest standards across regional sites. She served on multiple committees to meet COC standards, voicing the needs and advocating for best practices for oncology patients.

This has allowed firsthand experiences to develop a world class oncology rehab program that addresses the whole person through an integrated, multidisciplinary team of experts in supportive care for oncology patients. Kaitlin is passionate about helping others and providing care that exceeds expectations and results in exceptional outcomes. She is dedicated to better healthcare and specialized services available to patients. She believes everyone deserves the best chance at improving their quality of life.
