My name is Shelby Bender, and I am passionately dedicated to helping children find their voices and communicate effectively. As a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with a heart full of compassion, I have made it my life’s mission to support young individuals in overcoming communication challenges and unlocking their full potential.

Nothing brings me greater joy than witnessing the transformation of a child’s communication abilities. I am committed to staying up-to-date with the latest research and therapy techniques, ensuring that my young clients receive the best possible care to help them thrive in both their social and academic endeavors.

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Central Florida where I also minored in psychology. Having achieved the honors of Summa Cum Laude and Founder’s Scholar Award (top 1%), I completed my education and training by earning my Master of Arts degree at the University of Central Florida where I gained valuable insights and skills to address a wide range of speech and language disorders that affect children and adults of all ages.

Nationally board certified through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and licensed through the Florida Department of Health, my experience spans various settings, including schools (pre-K through high school), private practice, and home health, allowing me to work with a diverse pediatric caseload. My commitment to professional growth is demonstrated by my dedication to staying updated on the latest advances in the field of Speech-Language Pathology.
