Accent On Communication, LLC offers personalized assistance for communication disordered individuals and their family as treatment is guided through a partnership between individuals, families and the therapist. Increased skill will not be attained without targeting meaningful communication and ensuring carryover at home. We realize cognitive/linguistic, social/emotional and physical/sensory abilities must be coordinated. We use the PROMPT Approach.

Master of Science, Rutgers. Field of study Speech-Language Pathology. Bachelor of Science, East Stroudsburg University. ASHA clinical Fellowship: St. Barnabas Medical Center. PROMPT Certification. Level I woman's lacrosse coach.
Bio
Stephenie Morse Neufeld, owner, has worked in private practice, public and private schools, acute care hospitals, long term care facilities and the Veterans Administration. Work with motor speech disorders including dysarthria and apraxia, stroke, head injury, cognitive-linguistic disorders, developmental disabilities and mild articulation errors. While completing her master of science degree at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, she worked full time for the Veterans Administration. Later, she returned to the VA and was nominated for a national award for her work with Head Injury programing. Before settling into her practice full time in 2000, she worked acute care hospitals, school systems and a private school setting for physically impaired children. She completed her PROMPT (Prompts for Restructuring Oral Motor Phonetic Targets) Certification in 2009. She loves outdoor actives and watching her daughters play lacrosse.
Therapists working at Accent On Communication, LLC are limited to those with outstanding clinical skill and knowledge of the PROMPT approach.
