Our practice specializes in stuttering therapy for all ages as well as oral motor therapy and learning issues. We offer Lidcombe stuttering therapy for preschoolers through age 7 with success. We offer the MPI Stuttering Program for adults and fluency shaping for all ages. Programs are customized for each person. Our goal is to help your chiid improve fluency and confidence.
We also work with apraxia and oral motor and articulations issues. Our practice expands further to include PAF reading help, Orton Gillingham and we are providers of the Fast ForWord famiily of products, an online computer based program to help your child or you read better and improve memory and attention.

Bio
Lori Melnitsky, MA CCC-SLP has been a licensed speech/language pathologist for over 20 years. She stuttered severely and overcame this to help others communicate. Lori's daughter also stuttered as a child. She is Lidcombe Trained and has successfully treated hundreds of children who stutter. She also is certified in the MPI stuttering Program and teaches a unique fluency shaping program for teens and adults on an intensive basis. She is prompt certified and Beckman oral motor trained. Lori is an inspirational speaker and has spoken at local associations, universities and parent groups She also has a teenage daughter with dyslexia and became passionate about helping with reading, writing and spelling. She also believes in the underlying building of skills to learn to achieve these goals which is why she is a fast forward provider.
