Bio
Minal (pronounced “MEE-nuhl”) is a speech language pathologist who is passionate about working with individuals and their families to create the best quality of life following injury to the brain or diagnosis of neurodegenerative diseases.
She received her Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from University of Connecticut. She has over 8 years of experience treating adults with difficulties with cognition, speech, language, and voice. She is also a neurologic music therapy allied professional, and is trained in the use of music to affect neurological change.
She has worked in acute rehabilitation and skilled nursing facilities over the years but has spent most of her career providing comprehensive outpatient rehabilitation to adults with acquired brain injuries.
When she is not working, you can find Minal with her nose in a book, playing the violin, or walking her dog, Felix.
