Bram Speech and Language Consultants is a private speech-language pathology practice. Since 2004, we have been providing home-based and school-based speech therapy and language therapy in Darien, New Canaan, Stamford, and Greenwich, CT. We offer individualized evaluation and therapy programs for children from birth through age 18. We believe in using research-based methods to improve lives through improving communication skills!
Bio
Our Director

Allyson Bram Mahoney, MS, CCC/SLP has a B.S. in Communication Disorders from Penn State University and a M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from Emerson College. Allyson is ASHA certified and is licensed in NY and CT as a speech-language pathologist and Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped. Allyson is a member of ASHA SIG 1: Language Learning and Education and has mentored aspiring speech-language pathologists. She received the prestigious Shishmanian Award from the state of Massachusetts for excellence in Early Intervention. Allyson worked for the Greenwich Public Schools, where she was awarded the Special Education Services award presented by parents of special needs students and the Board of Education in Greenwich, CT.

For the past 15 years, Allyson has worked extensively with children and adults with a variety of speech and language needs in the birth to three system, through the public schools, and in private practice. She has also traveled the US and Canada presenting to speech pathologists on current best-practice therapy and assessment methods. Allyson believes that flexibility, creativity, a positive attitude and fun are the keys to successful therapy!

Our speech pathologists are enthusiastic, caring and experienced. We use best practices and a depth of research and clinical experience to address speech, language, hearing, feeding and social skills needs.
