Lake City Speech & Voice Therapy, PLLC is a specialized teletherapy clinic for the treatment of voice disorders such as vocal nodules, vocal polyps, muscle tension dysphonia, chronic hoarseness, presbyphonia/presbylaryngis (aging voice), vocal fold paralysis, inducible laryngeal obstruction and chronic cough. Other areas of emphasis include gender affirming voice therapy, Parkinson Communication Programming and swallowing therapy.

Education/Training
Carrie McBreen is a proud Badger alumni completing both her undergraduate and graduate education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Following her education she was selected to complete her clinical fellowship with Northwestern University at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.

Throughout her career, she has worked for Northwestern Memorial hospital, Lakeside VA Hospital and the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center as well as working in her private practice.
Bio
Carrie McBreen, MS CCC-SLP is a ASHA certified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with over 25 years of specialized adult experience. She is passionate about providing services in her specialized areas of interest. She has been an adult-focused SLP with training at several of the top large teaching hospitals in the Chicagoland area. In the past 15 years, she has become a voice and upper airway disorders, Parkinson speech/voice disorders and gender affirming voice specialized therapist.

She has also acted as a supervisor for graduate student clinicians and clinical fellows. She has participated in research and dysphagia clinical trials. She has been invited as a guest lecturer at Northwestern University and has been an instructor at many continuing education courses for SLP's.

Besides working in her practice practice, she proudly serves as a Speech Language Pathologist while serving the Veteran population.
