Simply Spoken Therapy is dedicated to providing exceptional in-home speech therapy services to children in the Kenosha, WI area. Together we will create a treatment plan tailored to meet your child’s specific needs through fun and engaging therapy sessions.
We believe that communication is essential for learning and maintaining relationships, and it is our mission to provide all children with the tools they need to be effective and confident communicators.
Education/Training
After graduating with my Masters of Science from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, I began working within the public school system on the north shore of Chicago. The public school system, along with opportunities in a pediatric outpatient clinic and adult inpatient hospital setting, gave me experiences treating a wide range of speech and language disorders.

Hi There! I am Amanda Townsend, proud owner of Simply Spoken Therapy.
Simply Spoken Therapy LLC believes that all children should be effective and confident communicators. This is accomplished by creating goals specific to your child’s needs and implementing them in fun and engaging activities that don’t feel like work! Play is the foundation of language development and is integrate into every session.
I am a nationally certified speech language pathologist with 10 years of experience. I currently hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and state licenses in Wisconsin and Illinois.
On a personal note, I was raised in Kenosha and currently live here with my husband, our cat and our dog. We love watching the Packers, discovering new restaurants, and taking our dog to the dog park. This practice was a long time dream of mine and I am extremely excited to be serving your children and my community!
