Hi, I'm Ellen Van Tassel, M.A., CCC-SLP, founder of Renew Pediatric Therapy. I am a certified speech-language pathologist dedicated to helping children develop the communication skills they need to thrive at home, in school, and in their communities.
I believe every child has a unique voice and deserves the opportunity to communicate with confidence. My approach is individualized, play-based, and family-centered, focusing on meaningful goals that support each child's daily life. By partnering closely with parents and caregivers, I strive to create therapy experiences that are engaging, practical, and empowering.
Renew Pediatric Therapy was founded with the goal of making high-quality speech and language services more accessible to families. I offer therapy in our Forest Lake clinic, as well as in-home and daycare settings, allowing children to learn and practice communication skills in the environments where they feel most comfortable and successful.
I provide evaluation and treatment for a variety of communication needs, including receptive and expressive language delays, articulation and speech sound disorders, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). My passion is helping children build the confidence to express themselves, connect with others, and reach their fullest potential.
I am committed to lifelong learning and continually pursue advanced training to ensure I provide evidence-based, compassionate care. Whether we are working on a child's first words, clearer speech, or expanding communication through AAC, my goal is always the same—to partner with families and celebrate every step of their child's progress.
