Rosalyn Pryor has been dedicated to helping and empowering families who have children with language and learning disabilities for over 20 years. Mrs. Pryor holds a Master of Science degree from Texas Woman's University in Communication Sciences. She is a licensed speech-language pathologist and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA). In addition, Mrs. Pryor is a also an educational diagnostician and consultant.
Mrs. Pryor has assessed children and adults for suspected disabilities in numerous settings including public and private schools, rehabilitation facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, colleges and in private practice. Mrs. Pryor has completed the Schools Attuned - Generalist Path offered by All Kinds of Minds. She has also worked as an assessment specialist on the multi-disciplinary team at the Luke Waites Child Development Center at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. She has diagnosed children with oral language disorders and learning disabilities including developmental dyslexia.
In addition, Mrs. Pryor is a seasoned pediatric therapy manager/director. She has vast experience with the supervision and mentoring of speech therapy assistants as well as clinical fellows. Since 2008, she has held several supervisory and managerial / director positions with Sante Pediatric Services (now Epic Pediatric Services). Mrs. Pryor has been responsible for the management of 80+ therapists and supervisors.
