I provide speech language therapy services for both children and adults. I completed my graduated studies at Hofstra University, where I received a Master of Arts in Speech Language Pathology with a TSSLD extension.
I specialize in children's language disorders, articulation, stuttering, aphasia, voice, swallowing therapy, and dementia. I strongly believe that communication between other professionals and parents is key to developing client skills. I believe that every client is different and therefore therapy should be individualized based on their specific needs and skills.
I currently work for school district as a speech language pathologist and have the opportunity to work with many different individuals with a vast variety of speech and language disorders. I have gained experiences in preschool, elementary, middle, and high school settings, as well as nursing homes and adult home care services. I have worked with children and adults who have been diagnosed with many different disorders.
I want my clients to be able to generalize and carry-over the skills they learn in their everyday life. I have a strong academic background and knowledge of the most recent research in the field of Speech Language Pathology.
