Emerald City Pediatric Center (ECPC Therapy) is a clinician-owned pediatric speech-language clinic located in Edmonds, Washington. We provide individualized evaluation and speech therapy that are evidence-based, family-centered, child-led, and neuro-affirming. About Ssu-Yu Chang, M.S., CCC-SLP Ssu-Yu is a speech-language pathologist who believes communication is more than just words—it’s connection, confidence, and lots of fun. Originally from Taiwan, Ssu-Yu is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and Hokkien. She earned her B.S. from the University of Washington and M.S. from Washington State University, gaining experience in schools, clinics, and hospitals along the way. Ssu-Yu enjoys working with children of all communication profiles, embracing the needs and strengths each child brings to therapy. Passionate about bilingualism, gestalt language processing, and early intervention, Ssu-Yu tailors every session to be child-led and family-centered. Outside of work, Ssu-Yu enjoys exploring local coffee roasteries, hiking, and bouldering with her husband. Whether climbing walls or helping kids overcome communication challenges, Ssu-Yu is always up for an adventure!
