Contact Angela McGee
Angela McGee is a highly-trained speech-language pathologist dedicated to working with children. She specializes in speech sound disorders, language disorders, play therapy, ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), and AAC (augmentative and alternative communication). Angela is trained in PECS and PROMPT (level II). She strongly believes in collaboration with families and other professionals, and dedicates time to teaching parents and caregivers how to optimize their child's newly learned skills. ​ Angela has worked in a variety of settings including public schools, clinics, and a specialized private school for children with ASD and other developmental disabilities in New York City. In addition, she spent a year working for Johns Hopkins University, where she designed and presented a literacy research study in collaboration with the Director of the medical school's Division of Cognitive Neurology and Neuropsychology.
