I'm looking for a speech therapist to help me with dysphagia. I had cervical vertebral fusion followed by a cerebellar stroke on January 13, and now have problems swallowing. My neck muscles are no longer swollen from the operation, but the doctors said the stroke may have weakened the muscles also. I'm on a mostly liquid diet and need to improve my swallowing before I can eat solid food again. Can you help me with this problem? I have a physician referral and BCBS insurance. I'd prefer a provider in Central or North Austin, but anywhere in Austin is fine. Thanks. |
