Hello,
I am a 24 years old male and I have had speech issues most of my entire life ( i can remember it starting around 5th~ grade). I can speak normally most of the time but sometimes I struggle with fluency and stuttering (my mother tried to get services for me during school but i did not qualify since my teachers did not think I had a speech impediment), I notice this is mostly brought on by anxiety of public speaking or high tension scenarios, also words that start with vowels are routinely hard for me to enunciate without stammering. I work full time and am in grad school so Telehealth/virtual is my preferred method of speech therapy if possible. I'm excited to correspond with anyone who responds, Thanks! |
