Bio
Andrea has provided SLP services to residents of the NY metro area and beyond, since 1999, when she graduated from Hunter College with an MS in Speech Pathology. Andrea holds a NY State license, Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA, and a bilingual extension (Spanish) to the teacher of speech and hearing handicapped (TSHH) certification. After years in acute rehabilitation, accent modification, home health, early intervention, and preschool programs, she completed her Master’s degree in Public Health, at NYU, broadening her perspective on communities and challenges they face relative to health and communication disorders. She spent two summers developing a pediatric speech and feeding program at a hospital in rural Ecuador, and providing services to profoundly delayed children and their families. In 2015 she completed a Master of Arts in Education Administration. Her lifelong commitment to continuing education enhances her clinical practice.
