Karen is the author of several books such as A Parent’s Guide to Speech and Language Milestones, A Parent’s Guide to Articulation, A Parent’s Guide to Addressing a Speech Delay, A Parent’s Guide to Stuttering Therapy, A Parent’s Guide to Speech Sounds Development and A Parent’s Guide to Pediatric Feeding Therapy.
She is often asked to speak and has addressed audiences at Top Children’s Hospitals, Northwestern University and Marquette University. Karen is highly referred by many Chicago-area Pediatricians and elite schools.

Karen is a licensed pediatric speech-language pathologist and founder of Chicago Speech Therapy, LLC a well-respected and thriving private speech therapy practice in Chicago.
Karen, and her team at Chicago Speech Therapy, LLC, provide in-home speech and feeding therapy to children in the Chicago area. Karen is passionate about working with families and helping children reach their innate potential.
In addition to Chicago Speech Therapy, Karen also started Chicago Speech Therapists Connect, a networking group for Chicago speech therapists which has grown to over 379 members. Karen also launched (Insight, Mentoring And Guidance for Aspiring Speech-Language Pathologists) to assist and mentor future speech-language pathologists.
Through IMAGAS, Karen awards an annual scholarship to a speech graduate student who exhibits extraordinary excellence, hard work and character.
Karen received both her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Speech-Language Pathology from Marquette University.
She is a certified member of the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA), the Illinois Speech and Hearing Association (ISHA) and is licensed within the State of Illinois. Karen often gives talks to prominent pediatrician practices and teachers at top Chicago area preschools. Karen is also the author of several guides on speech and feeding therapy.
In her spare time Karen enjoys running, biking and swimming along Chicago’s lakefront and has competed in over 25 triathlons.
