Education
Leianne graduated in 1996 from Alabama A & M University with a Masters of Education in Speech Language Pathology. She has received specialized training in PROMPT, Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), Floortime, Verbal Behavior Therapy and feeding therapy for picky eaters, just to name a few.
Bio
Leianne has been a speech-language pathologist for 20 years and has worked in a variety of settings, including outpatient therapy clinics, schools and private pediatric clinics. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed in the state of Texas. She has received specialized training in PROMPT, Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), Floortime, Verbal Behavior Therapy and feeding therapy for picky eaters, just to name a few.
She opened her private practice because her true passion is working with children and their families, one-on-one, and educating parents and caregivers about the best ways to facilitate communication with their child. Her goal is to provide the most effective and highest quality, individualized speech therapy, language therapy, and feeding therapy available to the families of Burleson, Joshua, Crowley, and the surrounding areas.
