Elizabeth Barrios is a bilingual speech-language pathologist certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She has 25 years of experience working abroad in Latin America, and in the United States. She is a digital communication technology lover and a friend to music. Elizabeth surpassed the language and accent barriers to specialize in the multicultural population with communication needs. Her journey through a variety of cultures, languages and accents has equipped her to make a difference with the monolingual and bilingual population from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

Elizabeth has developed expertise in standardized, articulation and language assessments in English and Spanish for all age levels, monolingual and bilingual intervention, augmentative and alternative communication, autism spectrum disorder, early intervention, challenging behaviors, oral motor assessment and intervention, feeding disorders, public speaking skills, professional crisis management, dialectal variation of Spanish, translation/interpretation, and foreign accent modification/reduction.
