Bio
Heather Angstadt, an enthusiastic and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist, obtained a Master of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology from San Jose State University. She has worked both in the school setting at a non-profit school for children with moderate to severe developmental disabilities and in a pediatric private practice office. Throughout her experiences, she has enjoyed providing nurturing speech and language services to children with a variety of disorders including: Apraxia, articulation, Autism Spectrum Disorders, developmental delays, Down Syndrome, receptive and expressive language disorders, and stuttering. Additionally, she has experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). Heather appreciates the opportunity to connect with children on an individual level and enjoys encouraging and inspiring them to reach their full potential. Her warm, playful therapy style provides a comfortable environment where a child's true ability can shine. Heather believes a collective approach, encompassing the child, family, and other team members are all an integral part of therapy and are key figures in a child’s communication development.
