The Duxbury Speech Clinic builds positive relationships with clients and their families and provides hands on speech and language therapy for at home carry over. The clinic, with assistance of the family, develops an individualized therapy plan that considers the child’s strengths, current level of functioning, and their future goals. The Duxbury Speech Clinic believes learning should be fun and strives to make each session personal, positive, and effective. Our clinic encourages exploration through play and meaningful experiences to build the foundations for successful social, communication, and academic skills through speech therapy. We help each child find their voice and empower the family to effectively communicate with their child. We want to help your child reach their communication potential.

Bio
Hi, I’m Jackie and I am the founder and creator of the Duxbury Speech Clinic. I am an American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) certified Speech Language Pathologist. I graduated from the University of Vermont with a Bachelor of Arts in 1992 and received my Master of Science at Emerson College in Boston, MA in 1994. I have worked in a variety of settings including a level one trauma center (Duke University Medical Center Durham, NC), community-based hospitals, private clinics, early intervention, and the public-school setting with clients ranging from toddler to adult.
