Lori received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from North Carolina State University in 1994 and her Master of Arts degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Montclair State University in 1998.

Bio

Lori has experience diagnosing and treating a wide range of communication challenges in children aged 2 and up.

Fostering a positive therapeutic environment is the key to genuine success and Lori values the connections she makes with the children on her caseload. She engages kids in fun and stimulating activities and adapts her therapeutic approach to suit each child's unique characteristics and challenges.

Lori works hard not only to establish meaningful and supportive relationships with each of the children she treats, but also with the important adults in their lives. She routinely collaborates with family members and caregivers, providing guidance and strategies for home-based support.

Lori has a commitment to continuous learning. She regularly attends workshops and seeks opportunities for professional development in order to keep her practical skills current and continually add to her clinical toolbox.

Memberships

Lori is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and licensed by the State of New Jersey. She also maintains certification by the New Jersey Department of Education as a Speech-Language Specialist.
