Windfall Speech & Language Services is a private practice in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Our mission is to provide each individual, as well as parents/caregivers the tools needed to overcome communication obstacles in the individual's school, home, and daily living.
We provide free consultations, appropriate and adequate screenings, evaluations, and treatment for children and adults, specifically targeting their communication needs.
We offer family/parent coaching and resources to keep our clients supported every step of the way.

Education
Mia Martin is an ASHA-certified speech-language pathologist who earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Radford University in Radford, Virginia. She has been practicing for 25 years within Pre-K, K-12 public schools, and various home-health settings and hospitals in Virginia, Maryland, District of Columbia, and North Carolina.
Bio
Mia recently has been awarded the ACE Award from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association for demonstrating her commitment to lifelong learning by earning required ASHA continuing education coursework. She has a passion for working with children and adults from all walks of life, with special interest in early childhood development, articulation and language disorders, stuttering, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and cerebrovascular accidents.
Mia founded Windfall Speech and Language Services, PLLC and is currently offering services in the state of North Carolina. The name "Windfall" was simply chosen because she hopes that her services are a "godsend" to those with communication needs, and she wishes "blessings" and "good fortune" to those she serve.
