Education/Training
I received both my Masters and Bachelor of Science degrees from the University of Washington. I am licensed by the State of Washington and hold the Certification of Clinical Competence by the American Speech and Hearing Association.
Bio
My therapy approach is guided by evidence-based, developmental therapies which focuses on the individual needs of your child. I offer home-based and teletherapy services which includes consultations, evaluations, and therapy for toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children.
I am certified in "It Takes Two to Talk", a therapeutic program designed specifically for parents of children identified as language delay, and "More Than Words". (MTW). MTW is a program for those parents with children diagnosed with autism targeting social communication. I am also highly skilled and trained in treating speech/articulation, receptive and expressive language disorders and early literacy/reading difficulties. I have training in both the Lindamood Phoneme Sequencing Program for Reading, Spelling, and Speech (LIPS) and Visualizing and Verbalizing programs which focus on the sensory-cognitive processing necessary for reading and comprehension.
