Bio
Dr. Kelli Uitenham, CEO of Serenity Speech Therapy, PLLC, is a doctor of clinical science, speech language pathologist who specializes in young adults, adults and geriatric populations. Dr. Kelli is highly experienced in treating cognitive, swallowing and voice deficits and is gifted in empowering communication skills through her knowledge in dementia, Parkinson's, voice, dysphagia, aphasia, fluency, articulation and accent modification. She is passionate about her clients and believes in tailoring programs specific to each one.
Dr. Kelli has worked as a full time and travel speech therapist in assisted living, independent living facilities and skilled nursing facilities, up and down the east coast of the United States, as well as the Midwest. During her travels she gained invaluable experience by learning new techniques and strategies which she incorporates into her sessions. Dr. Kelli is certified in LSVT LOUD for Parkinson's, Compton PESL for accent modification, is a SpeechEasy provider for those who stutter and is trained in The Guardian Way as well as Vital Stim neuromuscular electrical stimulation. She is licensed to provide services in North Carolina, California, Virginia, Georgia, Indiana and Florida.
When Dr. Kelli isn’t working, she enjoys traveling, spending time with her family and friends, golfing, scuba diving, horseback riding and playing with her teacup Yorkie, Braxton.
