Speaking Diligence is a therapist-owned private practice with a sole purpose to help clients overcome their communication obstacles. English language learners are candidates for accent modification services and public speaking training while individuals with current or past neurological disease (stroke, Parkinson's disease, brain injury) are eligible for skilled treatment to address difficulties with voice, speech production, and language comprehension/expression.
In addition to utilizing traditional approaches of speech-language therapy, Magdalena incorporates awareness, mindfulness, postural adjustments and breathing training to further promote functional gains in treatment and maintenance of learned skills long after therapy is finished.
Due to the small size of the practice, Magdalena is able to highly individualize assessment and treatment sessions to fit her clients as well as devote her time and resources to providing client and family training necessary to ensure success in overcoming communication obstacles.
