Talk2Amulya, LLC is a private practice whose mission is to provide evaluations and treatments for individuals diagnosed with speech, language, swallowing disorders. Talk2Amulya was created by Amulya Chandra, M.S.,CCC-SLP to provide high quality services to both children and adults using evidence-based research. All services are provided in the client's home.
Education/Training
My education includes a B.A. in Hearing and Speech from the University of Maryland at College Park and an M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of the District of Columbia. I am a member and hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), and is licensed in the state of Maryland and Virginia. I also hold the Suitable Qualifications certificate from the Maryland State Department of Education which certifies me as an early intervention specialist.
Bio
I bring a wealth of experience from a broad range of communication disorders, working with children and adults. I have worked with infants/toddlers and school-age children, including adolescents, on speech, language, and communication disorders. My other experience includes working with adult neurogenics (acquired brain disorders), including swallowing disorders, apraxia, dysarthria, aphasia, and other speech and language disorders. Employment experience includes working in private and public schools, private practices, skilled rehabilitation facilities, and nursing homes.

I am certified by the Institute of Language and Phonology (IPL) to provide accent modification training to individuals who would like to modify their accent, gain personal confidence, and improve their communication skills.

I serve as the Lead Speech-Language Pathologist for my company in the school system. My job includes communicating pertinent information to the other therapists working in the county, building team work and morale, organizing team events, and other responsibilities.

I have previously served as the Communications Co-Chair of the District of Columbia Speech-Language-Hearing Association (DCSHA).
