Education/Training
Dr. Yadira Cantu obtained her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. After practicing for several years, she furthered her education and obtained her Doctoral degree from Loma Linda University. She is a native Spanish speaker and a Bilingual services provider. She is a generalist SLP with a wide range of experience across diverse age groups and settings.
Bio
Dr. Yadira Cantu is a licensed Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist with over 10 years of experiences working with children and adults. She is considered a generalist treating all aspects of communication disorders such as articulation, aphasia, accent expansion, apraxia, dysarthria, early intervention, dysphagia, language disorders, stuttering, voice disorders, and professional communication coaching. She is a Certified Autism Specialist with experience working with the neurodiverse population. In addition, Dr. Yadira Cantu, is certified in an exercise based dysphagia rehabilitation program, the McNeill Dysphagia Therapy Program.
