Specializing in disorders of speech, language and hearing from preschool to adults. Primary focus has been with patients on the autism spectrum, articulation disorders,language/learning disability, ADHD and auditory processing.Hippotherapy is my latest passion within my field. This is using a horse as a therapeutic tool.
As a parent of two special needs children I have a direct experience into the major challenges many parents face. My 32 years of experience working in the public schools and in my private practice have given me a multitude of challenges which I have tackled successfully. I am very willing to travel to different locations around the Denver metro area, do home visits and evening/weekend appointments. My latest passion is combining speech/language therapy with the therapeutic movement of a horse (known as hippotherapy). It has been extremely successful with autism spectrum disorders.
My certifications include A Certificate of Clinical Competency from The American Speech Language Hesring Assoc.(ASHA), CO state Licensure (DORA), Co State Teaching Certificate (SLP), a level one certificate from the American Hippotherapy Assoc (AHA).

Bio
Born and raised in Hawaii. Undergraduate degree from Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA. Graduate Degree from University of CO, Boulder. Married with 2 adopted children, 5 horses a dog and a cat. Passion for rescuing the most abused and neglected horses I can find and rehabilitating them.
