The Speech Connection
The Speech Connection is a private practice located in New Canaan, Connecticut. We provide specialized speech and language services that are tailored to meet the needs of each individual client. We believe in making our sessions fun, highly motivating, and client centered. We provide consultations to families and schools, evaluations, and treatment of complex speech and language-based disorders.
The Speech Connection provides individual and group sessions to children of all ages. We work with young adults, who have aged out of school and are interested in continuing to develop their communication skills. Our young adults have benefitted from working on job related communication skills, building relationships and friendships with others, and developing functional problem solving skills.
Bio
Naomi Williams is a Speech and Language Pathologist with over 14 years of experience working with children and young adults with a variety of communication needs in Birth to Three, Private Practice, and Public Schools. She provides services for students with Expressive and Receptive Language Disorders, Social Pragmatic Language Deficits, Articulation Disorders, and Autism Spectrum Disorders. Naomi has experience working with students who use Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), as well as experience working with children and young adults with behavioral challenges. Her work with young adults' in an18 to 22 program, focuses on the importance of communication and social interactions in all aspects of their life. Every child is unique and our approach at The Speech Connection is to ensure that each and every child feels comfortable, happy, motivated to communicate, and reaches their full potential.
