My name is Angelica and I am from New York City (NYC) . I spent my earlier years of life in Puerto Rico and finished my teenage and young adult years in NYC. I earned both my Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and Master of Arts (M.A.) in Communication Sciences Disorders (CSD) also known as Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) in NYC.
Initially, I started working with individuals with Autism in an Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) program. Then, I ventured to working with individuals with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). Throughout my career, I specialized in providing Speech Therapy (ST) services to individuals with tracheostomies in acute, sub-acute, and long term care settings. Later, I relocated to Florida where I currently reside and continue to serve as a SLP treating clients presenting with dysphagia, speech sound disorders, aphasia, cognitive-linguistic deficits, and voice disorders. In addition to this, I treat children with Autism, articulation, stuttering, and speech & language delays.

I have a true passion for providing ST services across all populations. Throughout the years in my career, I have gained knowledge from clients' experiences. I also gained insight into how each client has individual needs and the importance of establishing a rapport with them in order to make the transition of therapeutic services more feasible for both the client and myself.
