Kerry is a Speech-Language Pathologist who holds a Master of Arts in Speech and Language Pathology from Temple University. Certified by the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) and holding licenses in several states, she has been practicing for over twenty years and has experience treating infants, children and adults. She is trained and experienced in working with patients with an array of different speech and language delays and disorders. Kerry has a passion for working with children who have developmental language delays, speech disorders as well as fluency disorders, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, articulation, phonological disorders and expressive and receptive disorders. She also provides services to adults with various disorders as well and has treated adults with fluency disorders, cognitive based language disorders, aphasia and dysphagia. Understanding that it is important for her patients to receive comprehensive care, she involves the family members, parents and caretakers of her patients in therapy whenever possible.
In her twenty-plus years of practice, Kerry has developed a broad range of experience. She has practiced in several states across the U.S. to include Virginia, Tennessee, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and California. Kerry has had the honor to work overseas in Japan for the Department of the Navy where she provided support to the children of U.S. military families serving abroad.
Kerry is available to consult on Individualized Education Plans, provide support to other Speech-Language Pathologists and mentor students in the field. |
