Ascension Therapy provides in the home and in the community comprehensive evaluations and quality speech and language treatment for both children and adults of all ages with communicative and swallowing disorders in Onondaga County. We provide:

Bio:
Yana Fasulo MS, CCC-SLP (Founder and owner of Ascension Therapy, LLC) is a certified Speech Language Pathologist who has been servicing the New York City area for the past 5 years. She relocated with her husband from New York City and moved to Syracuse, NY in 2013. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Speech Language Pathology from State University of New York College at Cortland and a Master's Degree in Communicative Sciences and Disorders from New York University. She holds a New York State License in Speech-Language Pathology, NYS Initial Teaching of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped Certification, and the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association's Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology. She has experience working with a variety of populations and disorders in several different settings including: daycares, preschools, elementary and middle schools, private practice, private homes, skilled nursing facilities, and outpatient rehabilitation centers. Over the years, she has become an expert in both evaluating and treating children through adults (ranging from ages birth-70) with a variety of disorders and diagnoses, including receptive and expressive language delays/disorders, articulation/phonological disorders, apraxia, aphasia, dysarthria, dysphagia, fluency (stuttering) disorders, voice disorders, stroke, auditory processing disorders, traumatic brain injury, Cerebral Palsy, Cleft Lip/Palate, Down Syndrome, and autism spectrum disorders (ASD).

Yana is a compassionate and dedicated therapist with a genuine desire to help patients reach their full communicative potential. She tailors therapy to meets each individual's unique communication needs and believes in the strength and potential of each of her patients.
