Brenda Bliss, M.S., CCC-SLP/A, LSLS Cert. AVT, owner of Bliss Speech and Hearing Services, Inc. a large North Dallas private provides therapy services to children and adults with all types of speech and language disorders. Areas of expertise include: Speech and Language Disorders, Aural Rehabilitation, Auditory-Verbal Therapy, Voice Disorders, Stuttering, Central Auditory Processing Issues Disorders, Myo-Functional Therapy, Oral Motor Deficits, Apraxia, Autism, Feeding Disorders, and TALK Tools.
At Bliss Speech and Hearing Services, a skilled therapist will provide the best care possible to you or to your child. An evaluation will be completed and we will make certain you will be matched up with a highly skilled speech/language pathologist who can provide the appropriate care to meet your needs.
We believe that individualized therapy plans are essential and necessary and should be developed through careful assessment and observation along with obtaining input from the parents who remain involved in each therapy session. The goal is to provide the tools necessary to each and every child and adult allowing the individual to ultimately function independently in society, becoming the best communicator possible.

Brenda Bliss, M.S., CCC-SLP/A, LSLS Cert. AVT is the director of Bliss Speech and Hearing Services, Inc., and has provided therapy services to a wide variety of children and adults in her well-established private practice in Dallas, Texas for over 20 years. Graduating from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Disorders, she pursued a double master’s degree in Speech/Language Pathology and Audiology graduating from the University of Texas at Dallas. Following formal schooling, Ms. Bliss pursued her certification as an Auditory-Verbal Therapist. Ms. Bliss is internationally recognized in the field of hearing impairment, promoting auditory-verbal therapy services and providing intervention to children across continents. She has spent time in Europe and Asia training professionals and working with children providing tools to help them develop listening and spoken language skills. In addition, she serves on the Pediatric Advisory Board for Med El Corporation. |
