Welcome! Beacon Therapy is a privately owned practice designed to provide high-quality speech and language therapy services to residents across the Mississippi Gulf Coast. We currently offer the following services:

Our History:
Beacon Therapy began as an idea that quality speech and therapy services should be accessible to anyone who needs them. In September of 2015, this idea became a reality, and Beacon Therapy LLC was formed. Our practice is set for substantial growth in the years that come, as we work toward fulfilling our vision of becoming the premier provider of speech therapy services on the Gulf Coast.

Bio

Elizabeth Battise is a native of Biloxi, MS. She received her Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Memphis in August of 2012. Since then, she has had extensive experience providing therapy services to both children and adults. She has worked in a variety of settings, including preschools, public schools, nursing homes, and hospitals (acute care, inpatient, and outpatient).

Elizabeth began Beacon Therapy LLC as a way of extending her services to all residents of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. She chose the name "Beacon Therapy" in honor of a childhood nickname given to her by her aunt and in respect of the iconic structure in her home town. She feels that this name stands as a testament to her goal of guiding others to better communication.
