Practice Information |
Iowa Speech Solutions has been helping clients in the state of Iowa since 2022. We provide adult based speech, language, cognitive and swallow services. We commonly see young adults (minimum age of 15) through geriatric. Our in person services extend to the Iowa City corridor. We provide teletherapy services for the entire state of Iowa. We provide outpatient services in our North Liberty office in addition to in-home outpatient services (pending on clinician’s caseload, need, insurance and radius). Johnston office is teletherapy only at this time. We also can serve you in contracting adult speech therapy to your company and consult on speech therapy programs. We have provided education services to local companies and non-profits. We are happy to provide education on many topics related to adult speech therapy to clients, care partners, community, healthcare companies and non-profit organizations. Topics we have educated on include but not limited to: Scope of SLP services, Parkinson’s Voice and Swallow, MS and Cognition. We care for younger to older adults with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing needs. We serve adults through geriatrics who have been diagnosed with neurodegenerative diseases, acquired brain injury, dysphagia, head and neck cancer, dementia, and other cognitive linguistic impairments. Iowa Speech Solutions was created to meet patients in a variety of settings to improve ease of access and generalize carry over, which is rare in the healthcare world. We are here to serve those in home, community and tele-therapy settings. Our services are outpatient in the home. It is important to state that we are NOT a home health agency but believe in the importance of providing functional therapy in your home. Home services are allowed based on diagnosis, caseload, area and insurance. |
