In our Bexley office, we specialize in treating oral dysfunction and orofacial pain by combining functional treatment with massage for pain relief and lasting results. By treating the body as a whole, we can maximize function and minimize pain. We have specialized training in lactation management, infant feeding disorders, bodywork for breastfeeding, TummyTime! Method, orofacial myofunctional disorders, massage for TMD/jaw pain, myofascial release (John F. Barnes/MFR), craniosacral therapy and craniosacral fascial therapy (CFT/Gillespie Approach).

Our online service offerings include speech-language therapy, feeding therapy and literacy intervention for dyslexia. We are trained in the Orton-Gillingham methodology.

We are a Jon Peterson Special Needs Scholarship provider.

Bio:

Jennifer Scaggs is a bilingual speech-language pathologist and massage therapist and the founder of Brighter Connections Speech and Wellness. The focuses of her practice are treating pediatric feeding disorders, orofacial myofunctional disorders and children with dyslexia or other reading and writing difficulties.

Jennifer lives in Pickerington with her husband and three kids. When she’s not working, she enjoys reading, homeschooling her kids and spending time outdoors. She also loves music and coffee!
