Renee completed her Masters degree in Communication Disorders at the University of Texas at Dallas in 1998. She is a certified Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of California and nationally certified through the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA). Renee moved to California to complete her Clinical Fellowship at the San Francisco Hearing and Speech Center. She has practiced for the last 18 years in a variety of settings including: private and public schools, clinics, and as a provider of home-based early intervention services.  Renee enjoys working with children of all ages with a special interest in early intervention (0-3) and in preschool speech, language and literacy development. She is currently pursuing her certification in Orofacial Myology. Renee founded Care2talk to provide a greater range of speech and language services for children, their parents, care providers and teachers in the Bay Area.
