Integrated Speech Pathology was founded by two speech-language pathologists, Dr. Christina Luna, SLP.D., CCC-SLP and Donna Spillman-Kennedy, MS, CCC-SLP, each with more than 20 years of experience in the field. We are licensed in New Jersey and ASHA certified.
Our specializations and areas of expertise are selective mutism; executive dysfunction (memory, attention, planning, organization, flexibility, problem solving); and apraxia of speech (AOS); augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) assessment and training; medically fragile and multiply handicapped children. Our specialized intervention approaches include PROMPT, and LSVT (Lee Silverman Voice Therapy)
The staff at Integrated Speech Pathology are highly-experienced speakers and instructors. We provide customized continuing education, in-services, and other community-based information programs. |

Education |
Donna Spillman-Kennedy is a founding partner at Integrated Speech Pathology. A graduate of Rutgers University (BA, MS Communication Sciences & Disorders), Donna has worked as a speech-language pathologist for more than 25 years, dedicating her career to helping individuals with complex communication and medical needs. She has worked in a variety of settings for adults and children with a wide array of disorders and disabilities, including the Cerebral Palsy Association of Middlesex County, as a consultant at a variety of schools, and specific expertise in augmentative alternative communication and selective mutism. Ms. Kennedy is an augmentative communication specialist and is a certified NDT (Neuro-Developmental Treatment) therapist and a PROMPT Bridge Level -trained clinician.
Dr. Christina Luna is a graduate of William Paterson University (BA, MS) and Nova Southeastern University (Doctorate). Christina has worked as a speech-language pathologist in a variety of settings including acute and subacute medicine, long term care, psychiatry, early intervention, and public schools. Christina has completed training with the American Telemedicine Association, and is a PROMPT Bridging Level -trained clinician. Dr. Luna worked as an adjunct and assistant professor teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in speech-language pathology at Kean University for 13 years and has worked as a clinical supervisor for novice clinicians. Christina has developed and presented lectures and programs in both online and traditional formats. She also provided faculty professional development, student programs addressing oral presentation skills and anxiety, as well as the creation of professional supplemental materials (posters, handouts, slide presentations), and e-learning. Christina published and presented her research in social and cognitive communication disorders at local, state, national, and international conferences. |

Integrated Speech Pathology offers a client-centered approach: Our belief is that the most effective approach is one tailored to the specific, functional, day-to-day needs of each individual while keeping their maximum independent potential in mind. Our firm has a diversity of experience. We have worked with individuals with communication and swallowing/feeding problems across the lifespan at public schools, schools for children with multiple disabilities, early intervention, hospitals, clinics, rehabilitation facilities, long-term care, and traumatic brain injury centers.
We provide continuing education programs on a variety of topics including selective mutism and augmentative and alternative communication. |

We are a fee-for service provider and do not accept insurance. Cash, check, all major credit cards. We provide a billing statement at the end of each session that clients may submit to their insurance for reimbursement. |
