Located on Long Island, NY, Lilypad Speech & Language Therapy is committed to equipping every family with practical tools that seamlessly fit into your daily routines. Our goal is to make the speech therapy process as convenient and effective as possible for you. At Lilypad Speech & Language Therapy, we offer a personalized, functional, and play-based approach to speech therapy. When kids are having fun, they learn better. While we specialize in late-talkers, we treat your child as a whole and that might mean addressing other areas of need. Session take place in our office located conveniently in Lynbrook, NY. We also give direct family coaching and support throughout speech therapy sessions. In addition to direct speech therapy, we provide: Resources and information on disorders and how to foster growth at home and in-between sessions. Detailed carry-over activities at the end of each therapy session. Collaboration with other professionals involved in the care of your child (e.g., teachers, PT, OT, etc). Written progress reports every three months throughout the course of therapy with updated recommendations and goals, as well as daily session notes and progress monitoring.

Bio:

Lily Goldberg, M.S., CCC-SLP, TSSLD is a certified Speech-Language-Pathologist located in Long Beach, NY. Lily holds her certification of clinical competency (CCC) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and is certified as a Teacher of Children with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) in New York State. Lily serves and supports the Long Island community in her private practice and as an adjunct professor at Hofstra University. Lily specializes in early language delays and disorders and has worked in early intervention as both a therapist and supervisor. She subscribes to a play-based therapy approach, and family and caregiver training. Lily believes in creating individualized goals and treatment plans that are functional, multi-faceted and family integrated.
