Speakeasy SLP is a speech and language practice that specializes in treating youngsters with neuromuscular disorders (apraxia and dysarthria), autism, behavioral based feeding issues, social skills, and language-based learning delays/disorders. These include: The PROMPT method, successive approximations, Social Stories, Applied Behavioral Analysis, and the SOS Approach to Feeding. In addition to strong clinical skills, our sessions are fun, age-appropriate, and customized to each client’s needs. Parker Ramsey, M.S., CCC-SLP, is a certified Speech Language Pathologist and the founder of Speakeasy SLP. He earned his Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from CUNY Hunter College and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music from Bard College. He holds his Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA. Parker is level II PROMPT trained and has been using this dynamic approach with his clients since 2005. In addition, he has training in social story writing, Applied Behavioral Analysis, successive approximation approaches, Augmentative Communication, and the SOS feeding approach.
