The therapist uses tactile cues to help clients learn how to move their muscles more efficiently when speaking. PROMPT is a terrific tool for Apraxia. R THERAPY Denise co-authored a book on R therapy for speech therapists, based on her own discoveries about how to teach this very challenging sound. Her book is currently in university libraries for speech therapy students to use in training. AUTISM Denise is certified in More Than Words, developed by the Hanen Centre. More Than Words is a family-centered play routine designed to help preschool autistic children interact meaningfully with others and connect with the world around them.
