Tina is a Speech-Language Pathologist with over 9 years of hands-on experience with both children and adults. She earned her BA and her MA in Speech Pathology at St. Ambrose University . Tina is a compassionate mother of 3 children, one of which has special needs. Tina has worked in multiple settings centered around children with delays and exceptional needs. Tina believes in a play-based approach to therapy by following the child’s lead, and building connections through play.

Jessica Abawag is a Speech-Language Pathologist who works to empower families and support children. During her first career, she worked with students with autism as a special education teacher in California. After earning her graduate degree from San Jose State University, she worked with occupational therapists and ABA providers at a private clinic. In 2016, she and her husband moved to the Seattle/Tacoma area. While there, she opened her own private practice to continue to serve children and their families. Furthermore, she specializes in working with children with autism or young ones with apraxia of speech.

Sing Speak Swallow, PLLC is a speech therapy private practice in Puyallup, WA owned by Sydney Kovacs, M.S., CCC-SLP. Sydney is a singer and licensed speech-language pathologist based in Puyallup, WA. She has clinical experience in a variety of settings: outpatient neurological rehabilitation, skilled nursing, inpatient rehabilitation, and bilingual elementary school. As a classically trained singer and active jazz vocalist, she is passionate about combining her personal expertise with her knowledge of neurobiology and physiology to help her clients find their voices. Sydney works with clients across the lifespan, from school-age children to seniors. She believes in providing high-quality person-centered care, which is achieved by building a personal connection and tailoring therapy to individual clients. In an effort to accommodate patient schedules, Sydney offers therapy sessions in the after school/after work hours. As a singer, Sydney is most passionate about working with the performing voice. However, she also treats non-performers for voice disorders, upper airway/laryngeal disorders, swallowing disorders, speech disorders, and language disorders.

I have been working in the field of Speech-Language Pathology since 1997. I completed my undergraduate degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences at the University of Washington in August 1996. I graduated with honors from Northern Arizona University in December 2000 with my Masters degree. I worked in the public school system for five years before moving into private practice in 2002. My experience includes working with a variety of pediatric populations to treat and assess articulation/phonological delays, receptive and expressive language delays, autism spectrum disorders, including working with behavior challenges, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication intervention and support. I am Level 2 PROMPT technique trained and have attended multiple Verbal Behavior and ABA conferences to assist in supporting ABA therapy techniques. I enjoy working in a team approach with other members of the client's team, such as school, ABA, OT, PT and other SLP providers. I enjoy spending time with my husband and family and I am active in my church. I also enjoy all types of crafts and cooking.
