Description
She can say plenty of words but it’s conversing back and forth or forming sentences well. She has wonderful comprehension when I communicate with her and at time she will come out with short statements and answer me when I ask her a question but only yes or no answers mostly. She says thank you at times and I love you, but still won’t say her name or age. I had brought it up to her pediatrician at UAB pediatrics in McCalla and she assured me she showed no signs of autism. Then the pandemic hit so during the last year and half while things were shit down and sickness was going around I couldn’t get her in somewhere or risk her getting I’ll or myself. It is usually just me, her dad and her! She had no cousins or young brothers or sisters and doesn’t go to day care or school do to the language barrier I didn’t feel comfortable until she could talk putting her in someone else’s care. Now that the restrictions are lifted from the virus I want to fetch her in some activities with other children and be very aggressive with her therapy and am looking for guidance for more I can do at home to get her making strides! She has had two hearing test both which came back normal but her sister struggled with hearing tones so maybe needs to be rechecked again at another place! Idk all I know is I love my child and I want to do whatever it takes to give her the same advantages in life as every other child!
