ASD, ADHD, ANXIETY
I am a licensed speech language pathologist with American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) certification. My practice focuses on autism, ADHD, and anxiety. I am a neurodiversity-affirming speech-language therapist who works with tweens, teens, and young adults in the area of social-communication, social-emotional, executive functioning, and self-advocacy.
As a neurodiversity-affirming therapist, I respect communication preferences and my goal is to promote increased understanding, compassion, and inclusion. I work with clients to bridge the language and communication gap between neurodivergents and neurotypicals. My care promotes understanding and awareness of neurological difference. I offer care that focuses on enhancing communication in a way that respect and utilize a client's communication style and preferences or sensory needs. Therapy focuses on understanding and identifying areas of strength and brain differences that can make it difficult to navigate interactions, activities, and life as a neurodivergent individual.
I offer individual, dyad, and small group sessions. With care, a plan is devised to embrace the unique brain wiring, tap into natural talents and interests, and work with strengths as well as preferences to achieve individualized goals. I thrive to provide trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming education with intention and attention to developing a trusting relationship by creating a safe emotional, psychological, and physical space.
Consultation, individual, dyad, and small group sessions.
